The USMA Library has a variety of scanners for use by our patrons. You can use a small book scanner for smaller items, and we also have an overhead flatbed scanner for use with large items and books. These scanners are attached to computers, and in order to use them, you must log onto the computers with your CAC and pin. Items that you scan using these scanners can be saved in your network folders, or emailed using your Outlook account. Directions for use of the scanners are provided next to the computer/scanner workstations, and if you have questions about their use, you can speak with a librarian at the Reference Desk.

The networked Konica printer/copier/scanner unit can also be used for scanning and is the best scanner for scanning documents and multipage documents. After you insert your CAC and pin, you will be able to scan and an email will automatically be sent to your USMA email address.

If you do not have a CAC card, or are unable to log into a computer with a scanner, please see the staff at the Reference Desk for assistance.
