The Citation Help Research Guide can help answer many questions about citing your sources. Find it here
In addition, when you search for and find resources using the Libary's search tool Scout!, you'll find a "Cite" icon on the right hand page of the detailed description of the resources you choose; when you click on that icon, a new window will open with citation information for that resource in a variety of formats. You can select and copy the format that your paper prompt requires.
When you search the USMA Library catalog, there is a "Citation Suggestion" link to the right of the title of the item you select. Click on that link, and again, you'll be presented with a variety of citation formats for the resource you are using.
Since each Academic Department at West Point has a specific method for citing the resources you use for your work, please do take the time to review these citations against those requirements, and when in doubt, check your Little Brown Handbook, speak with your Instructor, or see a Librarian!
